Hand Stretch Film
Reliable Hand Pallet Wrap for Manual Load Securing
Hand stretch film — also called hand pallet wrap or manual stretch wrap — provides a flexible way to stabilise pallets, secure bundles and protect products during storage and transport. It is ideal for lower-volume wrapping, part pallets, awkward loads and areas where a pallet-wrapping machine is not practical.
Manual Load Stability
Secures palletised and bundled products without powered wrapping equipment.
Multiple Roll Formats
Standard, extended-core and mini-roll options for different wrapping tasks.
Operator-Friendly Options
Extended cores and compatible dispensers can improve grip and application control.
Clear, Coloured & Specialist Films
Options for visibility, identification, concealment and demanding loads.

Standard, Extended-Core or Mini Rolls?
Standard rolls provide a versatile format for general manual pallet wrapping and are commonly used with a reusable dispenser.
Extended-core rolls leave additional core at each end to provide a gripping point during application.
Mini rolls are designed for bundling smaller products, securing long items and completing localised wrapping or warehouse rework.

Choosing the Right Hand Stretch Film
The best film depends on load weight, pallet shape, sharp edges, required holding force, wrapping frequency and operator preference. Film gauge alone does not determine performance, so we consider stretch, puncture resistance, yield and the application method when recommending a suitable option.

Frequently asked questions
Yes. Hand pallet wrap, hand stretch film and manual stretch wrap are commonly used names for polyethylene film applied by hand to secure pallets and bundled products.
Hand film suits lower wrapping volumes, part pallets, awkward loads, mobile applications and areas without pallet-wrapping machinery. Higher-volume, repetitive wrapping is generally more consistent and efficient with a suitable machine.
Extended-core film has additional cardboard core projecting beyond the film at each end. This gives the operator a gripping point and can remove the need for a separate dispenser on occasional wrapping tasks.
Mini stretch film is used to bundle smaller products, secure long or loose items and reinforce specific sections of a pack. It is not normally intended to replace full-width film on complete pallets.
Consider the load weight, shape, sharp edges, required holding force, wrapping frequency and application method. A controlled trial is the best way to compare film yield, ease of use and finished-load stability.
Clear, coloured, opaque and recycled-content grades are available for suitable applications. The final specification should be checked against the load, required performance and local flexible-film collection arrangements.
